Just a short walk from Keihan Gion-Shijo Station. It’s a small Japanese-style dessert café nestled quietly in the heart of bustling Kyoto.
We offer sweets and drinks made with matcha, hojicha, and seasonal ingredients.
Whether you’re taking a break from sightseeing or just looking for a moment of respite from your daily routine, we hope this will be a place where you can relax and unwind.

Our Commitment to Ingredients and Sweetness

KOTO’s desserts and drinks are made with aromatic matcha and hojicha from Uji.
In addition, we carefully incorporate carefully selected domestic ingredients, such as black soybeans and kinako from Tanba-Sasayama.
We’ve kept the sweetness to a minimum to let the natural flavor of the ingredients shine through.
KOTO prides itself on its comforting, gentle flavors.

A relaxing space where you can unwind

Our cozy interior features both sofa seating and table seating.
 At the back of the restaurant is a small courtyard where you can relax while enjoying the soft light and the changing seasons.
